Leaving Edinburgh, we embark on a journey through Scotland’s landscapes, history, and legends.
Our first stop is The Kelpies, the world’s largest equine sculptures. Towering at 30 meters (95ft) tall, these breathtaking steel figures pay tribute to Scotland’s industrial past and the mythical water horses of folklore. Take time to admire their intricate design and the beauty of The Helix Park, where they stand as guardians of the land.
We then travel into Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, often called “The Highlands in Miniature” for its rolling hills, serene lochs, and rugged peaks. Our first stop within the park is Kilmahog, where you’ll have the chance to meet Scotland’s most famous residents—Highland Cows! If you're lucky, you may even get to feed them and capture the perfect selfie.
Continuing our scenic route, we follow The Duke’s Pass, one of Scotland’s most picturesque drives. This area was immortalized in Sir Walter Scott’s novel Rob Roy, which drew inspiration from the Trossachs’ untamed beauty and rich history.
Next, we pause at Loch Venachar, one of the many shimmering lochs within the national park. Here, you’ll have time to soak in the views, breathe in the fresh Highland air, and capture incredible photos.
From there, we arrive in Balloch, a gateway to Loch Lomond. Scotland’s largest loch by surface area, it stretches 22 miles (36km) long and 5 miles (8km) wide, inspiring poets and musicians for centuries. Take a walk along the famous Bonnie Banks before enjoying lunch nearby, with options to suit all tastes.
In the afternoon, we head to our final stop—Stirling Castle. A symbol of Scotland’s royal and military history, this grand fortress was once home to Mary, Queen of Scots and played a key role in the Wars of Independence. Perched on a volcanic crag, its mighty walls have witnessed the rise and fall of kings, queens, and legendary battles.
For fast-track entry, we recommend pre-purchasing castle tickets. There are also free guided tours throughout the day, offering a deeper insight into its fascinating past.
As our adventure comes to an end, we make our return journey to Edinburgh, reflecting on a day filled with majestic scenery, historic wonders, and unforgettable experiences.

Don’t forget a camera to snap the fantastic memories you’ll make on tour with us!Clothing
Glasgow comedian and actor Sir Billy Connolly famously said of Scotland that “there’s no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes”.
It’s true that no matter what the season, the weather in Scotland can be “changeable”. We suggest that you bring suitable clothing for all conditions, including a waterproof jacket and plenty of layers, particularly in the winter months.
Ensure you bring shoes that are suitable for short walks on rough or uneven terrain.

Although all attractions we visit accept card payments, we would also recommend bringing cash with you.
